90th Armistice Memorial Sculpture 2008

11 November 2008 marked the 90th anniversary of the ceasefire in World War 1. Commissioned to work with a representative group of pupils from the three schools in Barrow to design a sculpture in three parts. The parts form a single memorial when the schools amalgamate into a new academy in 2009. The sculpture will form a permanent statement of the student's response to war, death, peace and commemoration.
